Yolanda Typhoon Survivors loots Gaisano Tacloban Mall
Tacloban, Philippines – After the devastating Typhoon Yolanda hits the province of Tacloban, it causes a massive damage to some areas and some big properties. Some buildings were damaged and one of these is the Gaisano Mall in Tacloban.
This mall is situated in the most affected area.
According to the report, because of the breakdown destruction on the mall, hundreds of residents took advantage of the breakdown damage and purposely entered and took away anything they could loot such as groceries, clothing, appliances, such as refrigerators and all sorts of available stocks and goods in the mall.
Amidst the darkness inside the mall, people still entered and hurriedly emptied the mall. Nobody stopped the looting because even the police are also victims of this calamity. It was also reported that the Gaisano Tacloban might be empty now as of November 10. Another mall, the Robinson Mall has been feared to also experience the same situation even if this is located a few kilometers on the said the area.
