28 Countries Sending aid to the Typhoon Yolanda Victims
There are now 28 countries or states that promised to provide support for the ongoing relief operations in the Philippines affected by super typhoon Yolanda.
Among of the foreign donors are Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, European Union, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Luxemburg, Malaysia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, The United Arab Emirates, The United Kingdom, The United States of America and Vietnam .
Aside from those countries mentioned, there are also some international organizations who are committed to help the Philippine, included in the lists are the United Nations Children ‘s Fund ( UNICEF ), Doctors without Borders, Oxfam , and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
The Philippine government then also express their gratitude and thanked all those who are giving their full support to the country. The members of the cabinet of President Aquino are currently helping the victims of typhoon Yolanda.
It was also mentioned that everyone is helping together depsite on whatever their political affiliation are.
But Sec . Lacierda said that there should be no reason them to inform the media that they help because helping is a form of “self serving ” or voluntary.
