1.5 million people visits the Manila North Cemetery
Manila, Philippines, reaching more than 1.5 million people are now visiting the Manila North Cemetery (MNC) today only, November 1, 2013.
According to MNC Officer in Charge Raffy Mendez , they expect the continued visits of the people up until Sunday.
According to Mendez , there are no recorded incidents of crime on the first day of Halloween but there are still a lot of violators who brought goods prohibited to enter in that cemetery .
” Generally, the place is peaceful and there are no any kind of violence here in the North cementary, but there are still many things/objects that were confiscated by our police personnel, like sharp objects/thing that are prohibited to enter in the cemetery . ” Said Mendez .
Mendez also reminded the MNC visits to clean up their mess to maintain cleanliness inside the cemetery .
Meanwhile , more than 50,000 people are visiting the Manila South Cemetery beginning this early morning, November 1, 2013.
According to MSC Officer in Charge Daniel Tan , more than 80 pieces of sharp objects and is over 40 – flammable material confiscated on entry of the cementary.
